Ghana Army Helicopter crash: Government and NDC Officials Died In Tragic Helicopter Crash

 Sad News hit Ghana Today 

 An Army Helicopter who is carrying government officials has crashed in Adansi Akurofuom District in Ashanti Region.

The tragic accident has resulted to the death of government officials of Ghana. The presidency has confirmed that “ The presidency has confirmed that some top government officials and National Democratic Congress figures were involved in the helicopter crash. 

Defense Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Deputy National Coordinator Lumina Muniru, Former Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Samuel Sarpong , Former Parliamentary for Obuasi East Samuel Aboagye were the five  civilians identified in the crash.

The army personnel involved in the crash were identified as: Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala,Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
